I may have set a record for going so long without posting in this thing. But I saw something online that was so horribly ridiculous that I had to share it. Talk about getting screwed by the legal system. And people in the deep South wonder why the rest of the country looks down on them.

Mike Meyers and Kanye West were hosting a hurricane relief special on national tv, but Kanye sort of deviated from the script, you might say. If you haven't seen this yet, watch it...it is hilarious.

It's amazing how fast things can change. I am a very confused person right now. Bah! I hate this class I have to take. 7 days a week 9am-6pm. Thank God it is only one week.

I will be housesitting for my aunt in Wellington for the next several days. Someone should come visit me. I probably won't see Rachel again untilAuguest since she is leaving Thursday for UF. I will miss her a ton, but I was away most of last year, so I am sorta used to it.

It occurs to me that there are some people who seem to have a live journal only to try to brag and tell people how great they are. I am serious. Look through your friends list and see how many people only post to talk about some achievement. So pathetic.

Lately, I have begun to think she just really doesn't care. Actually, I know it. And it hurts.
Ryan and I rented Blow, and in the movie, Johnny Depp's father tells him "Money isn't real." It made me realize just how true that is. And it made me realize how many people fail to recognize it. My only true goal in life is to be happy, and worrying about money makes me very unhappy, indeed.
I have had a crappy night. It's nights like this when I begin to wonder who my real friends actually are, and who only really cares about him/herself.

So I had one final exam today and I have one more tonight at 8. I was studying until 3:00 AM for my first exam, and I fell asleep aroung 5:00 AM. Did I mention the test was at 7:30 AM. Yes, on a Saturday freaking morning. So I had to to wake up at 6:30 AM. I went to sleep when I got back from the test around 9:30. I woke up around 2. My head is still spinning. Now I have to study for my test tonight at 8.

Happy Birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world. My baby's 18! She's legal now. ::grins:: It kills me that I can't be there, but that's life. I miss her so much, and it has only been a couple of weeks. But don't worry, next year will give us a chance to make up for all the lost time. I can't wait. So while she is partying it up, I will be studying for two exams, one tonight, one tomorrow night. Fun. College is cool if you take out all the classes and stuff. Anyway, have a great 18th, baby. Tomorrow I can ask my editor what he thought of my article. Hopefully, he doesn't have too much criticism, but Rachel said it was really boring and too long and that I did not put enough information and had too many quotes, so he may hate it, too. Oh well. At least I got my first article under my belt. Thanks to everyone who has been supportive, and took an interest in it. I am sorry if it was boring.
